The Office Administrator Role In this role you will be asked to handle a couple of primary responsibilities that have a more set schedule for payroll and billing operations.
You will also be given a couple projects to work on with your own schedule but primarily asking for this schedule to be set within office hours (9am-5pm) for optimal communication purposes and communicated in advance with some regular hours set (albeit flexible to change).
This role is budgeted for 20 hours a week today but could become a full-time role with time and the right candidate.
Additional hours may be granted above the 20 hours/week committed hours for the right person and as work is available.
This is initially a mostly work from home position with some meetings and assistance required in the office.
We will furnish a company laptop and company email for you.
Remote/Hybrid Work Working remotely is allowed/required most the time, but only are hiring Local candidates because we need to have a once-a-week meetings in our office and have help to back up our office staff.
Client visits will also be needed.
Primary Responsibilities Processing biweekly payroll (enforcing employee timesheet standards, documenting issues, entering time totals, and overseeing accurate payroll).
Overseeing monthly billing processes (troubleshooting issues, making phone calls to insurers or MHCP to follow up on issues).
Supporting and helping coordinate implementation of EVV Solution for employee time tracking.
Supportive office activities and periodical client visits.
Secondary Responsibilities Filling in to answer calls, emails and supporting communication with business partners, employees, and prospective clients.
Supporting hiring activities (setting up job postings, recruiting, setting up interviews and supporting the interview and employee selection process, coordination of onboarding activities).
Supporting maintenance of team schedules and company calendar.
Attending promotional events.
Assisting in development of company procedures, documentation, and organization of materials.
Supporting data entry activities in Microsoft Access Database or other billing systems.
Support Nurse charting software MARS and TARS record management and 485 updates.
Preferred Qualifications (helpful, but not required) Home Health care industry experience Billing experience (Health Care experience especially helpful) Requirements:
Must be fluent in the English language.
Team player with a positive attitude and effective organizational and communication skills.
US Work authorization Flexible and constructive! Salary $19 - $25 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
