Summary:
The Deli Cook is responsible for all aspects of the deli station including the prep and clean up before, during and after service.
In addition, the Deli Cook prepares made-to-order sandwiches, specials and grab and go items for our customers within our corporate cafe.
We want you to take ownership of the deli station, taking pride in the appearance and cleanliness of not just the deli station, but the kitchen and cafe too.
The Deli Cook will serve as the first impression for our customers that visit our cafe.
This is a hands-on role that requires accurate speed, efficiency and excellent customer service.
Essential Functions and Key Tasks:
Preparing daily meals including but not limited to made-to-order deli items including catering orders (as needed)Chopping and slicing meats, cheese and vegetables, cooking, making sandwiches, grab and go items, etc.
Responsible for preparation of deli station according to company guidelinesStock deli station with all items necessary for serviceBake, roast, broil and steam meats, fish, vegetables, and other foodsCarve, trim and prepare meats and seafood for hot or cold serviceMake sure the customers are being taken care of and the department looks clean and presentable at all timesProvide excellent customer service to include being attentive, approachable, greeting and thanking customersOperates and sanitizes all equipment in a safe and proper mannerMay assist in supporting culinary staff at numerous stations as directedAdhere to and promote company standards for safety, proper food handling practices, sanitation, uniform guidelines and productivityDeli Cook Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent1 - 3 years' experience in a similar deli positionMust be dependable, neat, clean, professional and have excellent customer service skills - THIS IS A FRONT OF THE HOUSE POSITIONWho We Are:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
