TE Connectivity is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to be based at their Andover, MN facility. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for providing HR administrative support for multiple sites (Andover, MN, Chatsworth, CA, Grass Valley, CA, and Fremont, CA), including but not limited to the following areas: recruitment, policy & employee information administration, benefits administration, and performance management. This person will report to the HR Manager responsible for Andover and California Sites and Global Sales.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Recruitment, On-boarding and Exit Process:
Lead recruitment efforts for hourly personnel across all sites
Ownership and delivery of new hire orientation for new hires and transfers; act as a liaison for any questions.
Coordinate collection of and data entry of new hire paperwork.
Review exit process and materials; prepare transition documents as necessary.
Assist with the termination process, by completing exit interviews and ensuring that standard procedures are followed with regard to employee terminations
Policy & Employee Information Administration:
Maintain accurate and legally compliant employee files, including the completion and maintenance of I-9 forms.
Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in internal HRIS including: personal data, professional data, compensation, history, leaves of absence, etc.; assist with HR data requests and reports as needed.
Benefits Administration:
Act as local point of contact and support for employees regarding TE's benefits offerings.
Partner with the US Benefits team to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of benefits information to employees.
Manage leaves of absences, workers compensation, STD, LTD, and FMLA leaves in accordance with TE policies.
Performance Management
Assist with the performance appraisal process, goal setting and individual development plans
Assist with employee relations, investigations and supporting management in the disciplinary/performance improvement plan process
Oversee employee attendance monitoring and work with supervisors to assure prompt attention to attendance issues
General Responsibilities:
Provide feedback and updates as needed to Human Resources team; assist and provide guidance on local employee trends and/or issues.
Continually identify opportunities for improvement and implementation of best practices throughout all aspects of the HR life cycle.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Bachelors Degree
2 + years of HR experience
PHR Certification preferred
Fluent in CA labor laws preferred
Experience in SAP, Kronos and HR Analytics.
Strong ability and desire to take initiative, learn new concepts and optimize processes to streamline and create process, structure and efficiencies is essential. Process management capability: to assess processes, identify gaps, create needed protocols to remediate gaps would be advantageous
Ability to provide rapid, accurate response to confidential/sensitive requests and to handle confidential information
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization
Strong interpersonal skills along with presentation, written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
Proven ability to drive execution and achieve business results while always meeting deadlines.
Must be outcome driven and taking responsibility/accountability for tasks and being proactive to do more above and beyond.
Must have exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to produce quality work while, prioritizing multiple simultaneous deliverables and working in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
